 Enrolment Application

Children are enrolled at the school office prior to entering school.  There is a legal requirement for the Birth Certificate or Passport and Immunisation information to be seen prior to enrolment. 

Hillcrest Normal is a zoned school.  All information relating to our school zone can be found under "School Zone".
Alternative enrolment procedures are required for Foreign Fee Paying Students and additional forms are completed for students whose first language is not English.  New entrant children are encouraged to attend a Transition to School Programme that is organised by the Assistant Principal.  Each year, in June, the school surveys pre-schools in the district to assist with forward roll planning.  The Assistant Principal and Year 1 team  hold regular orientation meetings for parents of new entrant children.

2018 'Out of Zone' Balloting Procedures

The deadline for receipt of applications for 'out of zone' enrolments is 18 October 2017.

Parents of students who live within the school home zone should also apply by this date to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year.

The Board has determined that a limited number of places will be available for 2018.  If the number of 'out of zone' applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.  If a ballot is required, it will be held on Friday 27th October. 

Parents will be informed of the outcome of their application by mail early in November 2017.
